“If in doubt, don’t say it”: Lawyers warning after Councillor’s disciplinary for mock-Irish accent

It was widely reported that the proportion of people aged 16 or older in England and Wales who are married or in a civil partnership has fallen below 50% for the first time.

These statistics suggest laws in this area must be updated and were “crying out for reform.” Our Head of Family Law Sital Fontenelle said protections for cohabitants, who currently have “limited rights”, must be considered.
